ABOUT ME

Fun fact: When I was college, I was actually Planning on earning a degree in education.

Then, on a whim (and against the wishes of my guidance counselor) I took a class in photography and never looked back! I began photographing everything I could get my hands on whether it was my friends’ senior portraits, a recently engaged couple in my family, or a friend of a friend of a friend’s baby shower. I took every job I could for the photography and client experience alike, and received a crash course in all things portrait photography that first year of business.

Since then, I’ve built an independent business with an amazing array of clients, trained several photographers and even given a seminar as a guest speaker at a studio, . I never imagined starting this business at 19 would lead to the connections and projects that dddd, but I’m so grateful for

SPECIALIZED COACHING

Senior Photography Coaching

High school seniors are one of the most fun and rewarding clients I photograph. Their individual talents and stories just shine through on the camera and I love every second I spend with them. My business began by photographing my friends who were graduating seniors, and since then I’ve had the ability to work with so many wonderful students that have pushed me as a creative and an artist.

That doesn’t mean they don’t come with challenges! Seniors are young individuals each with their own idea of how they’d like the session to look. Mom or Dad might also have a perspective of what they want, and you as the photographer might have your own thoughts on what direction you think the shoot should go in. Sometimes seniors are shy and nervous in front of the camera, and sometimes they have big personalities and want to take control of the shoot. I’d love to teach you how to bring out the best in both!
