So for this session I was given a magical setting and a princess-like model to work with. Was this a dream session? You. BET. Helen's Garden is one of my favorite locations in League City and is absolutely beautiful around sunset. Combine that with Alyssa's stunning looks and you're sure to get fantastic images. I need to take a second to love on this girl because she was an amazing model to work with. Not only was she beautiful on camera, but she made the experience so easy and fun because of her personality. She smiled sweetly at the camera one minute and then gave me a fierce "smize" (as it's called by Tyra Banks) the next. Her acting experience helped out every time we wanted to try a different expression or emotion and she never shied away from any idea we came up with. I'm feeling so grateful that I get such amazing models to work with! Here's hoping that you have a calm and stress-free senior year Alyssa and I know you're going to do some knockout work as an actress in this year's performances at Lake!
I got the chance to work with this beautiful momma and her girls again recently and wanted to share a few of my favorite snaps from their session! If you haven’t heard of Megan Owen or had the chance to check out her blog yet, you should totally go stop by megoonthego.com and see what she’s all about. As a former student of hers, it’s been crazy watching Megan (or Mowen as we liked to call her) grow as a blogger while also raising two beautiful kids with her husband Greg. It’s so inspiring to see her pursuing the thing that really makes her happy and finding so much success in it. She's definitely got a fan in me!
Can’t wait for another opportunity to work with these fun personalities!
Ahhh these two! Jack and Delaney have that kind of love that translates so beautifully to camera, and the little things they did to make each other smile or laugh really brought out the magic in their pictures. The location also ended up being absolutely gorgeous at sunset, giving us the perfect setting to capture their connection and get photos that celebrate the fact that they're on their way to becoming husband and wife. Congrats to this beautiful couple and I'm so happy that you've found the love that so many spend their lives chasing after.
Way back in middle school, I used to be carpool buddies with this girl, but when we went to high school we lost contact and I just kept up with her on social media. When I started looking for dancers, I knew I had to reconnect with her and see if she could be a part of my dance photoshoot. As luck would have it, both her and Joann had a small open window this summer on the same day and I knew with the two of them this photoshoot was going to be amazing.
Nicolette was DYNAMITE on this shoot! We were able have fun and play with so many creative elements within the studio, and I loved how she adapted dance to every prop she was given. She was absolutely amazing to work with and almost seemed to read my mind while posing so the whole shoot flowed perfectly. When I look through her pictures, I always have this urge to play some music in the background or to get up and dance (I don't look half as good as she does when I'm dancing though). I feel so happy with what we were able to achieve together as a team!
