Janszen Wedding Day (2/17/18)

Where do I begin with this couple? Jesse and I took Brooke and Erik's engagement photos in December, and we instantly knew that these two were special. Their fun, happy spirit carried throughout their engagement session and continued through all our contact with them after as we waited for their wedding day. We spent the day with them meeting their beautiful family, laughing with them and their best friends, and anxiously peeking out the window with them every time the rain picked back up. When it finally came time for Brooke to walk down the aisle, I'm not going to lie the look on Erik's face made a few tears well up in my eyes. The love these two have for each other is so amazing, and it was such a wonderful experience being there to capture their once in a lifetime moment.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Janszen!

Kelsey's Portrait Session at Fill in the Blank Studio

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to go back to this amazing studio with Kelsey as my model this time. What you wouldn't believe is that this girl is a first time model! She absolutely killed this shoot and was a natural in front of the camera. We were able to play with so many elements in the studio including a brand new backdrop, and it was so much fun shooting with a more moody and dramatic style.

This session was also featured in a blog post by Fill in the Blank Studio that you can read here.

Serina's Senior Photos

I had such a wonderful time with Serina on her senior shoot! This lovely lady looked stylish in all of her outfits and didn't let the nasty cold weather stop her. She rocked every single one of her poses and I had such a great time with all the smiles and laughs we had during the photoshoot. I'm so happy Serina was my first 2018 senior and I can't wait to see where life takes this fantastic girl!

Bethany's Portrait Session

Bethany Ann Warner is a beautiful and talented musician that I was lucky enough to work with while she was home from her college in Nashville, Tennessee. We were able to get together over this past Thanksgiving break to work on her most recent EP cover, and then recently on winter break for a fun portrait session. What you'll notice after only a few minutes with Bethany is that she has one of the sweetest personalities ever and is an absolute joy to work with. It was absolutely freezing the day we did this shoot, but you would never know with the way that Bethany carried herself and how little she let it affect her. She trudged through the moody fields with Jesse and I with no hesitation. She was ready to pose wherever our ideas took us and could give me the most genuine smile one minute and then have a Vogue model expression the next. I'm so happy to have met this wonderful lady and have had her model for me and I can't wait to see all the fantastic things she accomplishes.
